I read a little something yesterday that impressed me greatly. This little writing said our attitude must be one of complete reliance on God and when we get to this point there is nothing easier than that. Our difficulties come when we try to usurp the authority of the Holy Spirit. When I can completely rely on God and I know my Father cares, then I can watch and anticipate how He will unravel my problems.

Light for Today: Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you...Let not your heart be troubled. John 14:27

Jump For Joy

Did you know that whales thrust their enormous bodies into the air? Those who study whales have come to the conclusion they do this for the pure joy of it. They love the way the sun feels on their skin and enjoy the rush of air. We, too, should jump for joy! No matter our circumstances we need to remind ourselves of the many blessings that God has given us. His love, His peace, and His promise that He will always be with us. For all the many times He comforts, encourages and leads us. We truly do have lots to jump for joy about.

Light for Today: The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. Psalm 28:7 NRSV

Turn To Prayer

TURN TO PRAYER

When you are feeling as if you are about to unravel inside, turn to prayer. The travel route of prayer is never misdirected or put off schedule ~ nor is it dangerous. Prayer gives peace and helps us avoid danger.

Light for Today: Pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank Him for His answers. Philippians 4:6 TLB
