Nutty Chocolate Bites


Your favorite recipe of Chocolate Chip Cookies without nuts added

1 1/4 cups mixed nuts with peanuts

1 1/4 cups Hershey's Special Dark chocolate baking chips

1 1/4 cups marshmallow creme

2 tablespoons half-and-half

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular size muffin cups. Prepare chocolate chip cookie recipe. Place 1 tablespoon of cookie dough in each cup. Bake 7-10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pans 15 minutes. Remove from pans to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, remove Brazil nuts from mixed nuts. If you want to use them coarsely chop them. In 2-quart glass measuring cup add chocolate chips, marshmallows creme, and half-and-half. Microwave on high at 30 second intervals until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Stir between each 30 seconds. Stir in mixed nuts. Drop about 1 tablespoon nut mixture onto each cookie. Let stand about 15 minutes until chocolate is set. To serve, remove bites from paper baking cups.

Note: If you are lazy and I mean really lazy, use 1 package (16 oz.) ready to bake refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough in place of stirring up your own recipe.
