Here's a favorite recipe with a new twist!
Chocolate Oreo Cupcakes
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup Hershey's unsweetened baking cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Combine dry ingredients; beat in liquid ingredients until smooth. Fill paper - lined cupcake tins 1/2 full. Put 1 tablespoon of filling into center of each cupcake. Insert 1 bite-size Oreo cookie into filling of each cupcake. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
1 package (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
48 bite-size Oreo sandwich cookies
Beat cream cheese, egg, sugar and salt until smooth.
Note: After cooling completely you may add a dollop of Cool Whip and another Oreo on top.
